Let's start

Some days ago my kids were asking me lots of questions about how yam were grown. Not only that they think maize and pepper are dug from the ground like cassava and yam.

 

After much thinking of what to do to show them example of how things are planted and how they grow, I came up with the idea of getting everything planted in used bags of cement and other bags that are to be thrown away.

We went round the neighborhood asking people to give us used bags of cement. We got many many of the bags  we needed since many people knew its and opportunity for the kids to learn new things about farming. At this moment we have been able to plant some seeds

The seed we've planted are ewedu, yam, potatoes and even cashew seed.

As they germinate we will be uploading the progress for people to see and to even imitate.
